In addition to improving one's spelling, football is useful for:
- understanding numbers (scores)
- writing numbers (in pencil on your t-shirt so you, too, can be Ronaldhino)
- expanding your English vocabulary (goal, kick, win, pass)
- geography (okay, not so much, but some of the older kids attempt to learn about the countries of their favorite players)
