"But my siblings soil their clothes too much!"

A teacher was reprimanding some ninth grade girls for not attending Saturday classes (remember, my blog posts are not always in chronological order--school has been out of session for weeks). He thinks they should be able to complete laundry in the morning and finish before class begins.

“If you get up at six…” Never mind that it is dark and cold at that time (when this story took place this was true) and nobody in their right mind would wake up at that hour to launder clothes.

One of the girls replied, “But my siblings soil their clothes too much!” Implying even if she did wake up at six she still wouldn't finish before start of class.

Or maybe she just doesn't like science.
